More and more people are going for organic food due to them being pesticide-free. In fact, to get a regular supply of organic food, these people are opting for an organic box scheme.
An organic box scheme is a box of seasonal, locally produced vegetables that’s delivered to the doorstep. The produce is fresh, as they are farmed by your local farmer.
There is a lot of evidence why you should consider going organic. Organic meat means that the meat comes from animals who are fed non-GMO feed and no antibiotics are given. Extra regulations may also apply such that the animals are not stressed out.
Organic food also generally taste better. It’s not subjected to nitric fertilizer, which means that it grows very quickly so that flavors are developed naturally. Jamie Oliver, for one, describes organic as “food with sparkle”.
